And hoo boy, we are set for a while. We did have a good turnout considering the weather – raining on and off all night – but as I tend to do, I bought too much candy. (I am TERRIBLE at judging how much we need.)
And now we’re on to my favorite holiday, Thanksgiving!!!!!
Did not win the lottery last night, but it’s OK – I’ll make do with the 1.2 Billion with a B on Wednesday. It’s not “pay too much for a social media platform and destroy it” money, but I think I can manage.
And now it’s time to go slog through the day and just make it until I win the lottery, LOL.
You have a great day and enjoy that candy!
My extremely-anti-gambling mother keeps saying things like, “Sooooo did you get tickets? I hope not! But I’m just curious!” LOL.
I know I’m a fraud of a leftist, but Thanksgiving is the best. It’s a food and family holiday for me. I have no Pilgrim-y mental associations…I just want to go to town on my sister’s baked yams and father’s stuffed mushrooms and eat a frankly life-threatening amount of cranberry sauce after looking for the Macy’s Snoopy float.
Yep, it is ALL ABOUT THE FOOD here. Gawd, I’m hungry thinking about it already.
With some cussing about the genocide, cause it sucks that it’s such a crap day for indigenous folks, and it’s the closest thing we have to a holiday that is for (almost) everyone.
Tell Mom that if you win, you promise she won’t have to worry about your ill-gotten gains!
