I never would have anticipated this level of relief from just getting a vaccine *appointment* – it’s a very pleasant surprise.
Couldn’t focus on shit all day, so probably good it’s a Sunday, LOL.
Took a good nap with Lily, the Padres beat the Dodgers, and cooked up a nice pork tenderloin for dinner which will also last a few more days for lunch and snacks.
What a good day.

I got my first shot at a mass vaccination site on an airport runway, and I was bouncing so much with excitement in the car that a National Guardsman turned to me and (nicely) did the “calm down” hands gesture. 🙂 And I barely slept the night before, because Pfizer Claus was on his way!
I am betting you were not the only bouncy one!
Just having it on the calendar is such a weird relief – and I bet I’ll be just like you and not be able to sleep the night before.
We’ve decided we’re going to use the “wait to make sure you’re OK” time to put in a to go order at the TexMex spot at the other end of the shopping center.
Vaccines *and* empanadas on Friday!!
